Who is the CEO of bitcoin?
There is no CEO of bitcoin. Bitcoin is a decentralized network controlled by all of its owners and participants.
Bitcoin is a decentralized/distributed network that has no head or center. As an individual participant in the network, each person participating in the network has the same amount of control or influence as another.
In effect, the bitcoin network largely runs itself. In order for a change to be made to the network, there must be consensus among the majority of participants (miners and node operators), or else the change won't happen.
While this "consensus algorithm" may make bitcoin extremely difficult to change in any fundamental way, this inability for a single person or entity to make changes ends up being one of bitcoin's most compelling features.
