Troubleshooting Missing Emails

What to Do if You Haven’t Received an Email from Casa

If you’re expecting an email and it hasn’t arrived, there are several steps you can take to resolve the issue. Below is a checklist to help you find missing emails and ensure you receive future communications.

Check Your Spam or Junk Folder

Emails can sometimes be mistakenly flagged as spam. Here’s how to check:

Gmail:

1. Open Gmail and click on the “More” section in the left menu.

2. Select “Spam.”

3. Look for the missing email and mark it as “Not Spam” if found.

Outlook/Hotmail:

1. Click the “Junk Email” folder in your inbox.

2. If the email is in there, right-click and select “Mark as not junk.”

Yahoo:

1. Open Yahoo Mail and go to the “Spam” folder.

2. If the email is there, click “Not Spam” to move it back to your inbox.

Confirm the Email Address and ensure that its verified

Make sure you entered the correct email address when signing up or requesting the email. Typos are a common cause of missing emails.

Add Us to Your Safe Senders List

To ensure future emails don’t go to spam, add our email address to your safe senders list or contacts. Here’s how:

Gmail: Open the email, click the three dots in the top-right corner, and select “Add [email address] to contacts.”

Outlook: Right-click the email and select “Add to Safe Senders.”

Yahoo: Open the email and click the “+” next to the sender’s name to add to contacts.

Check for Email Filters

You may have filters set up that are redirecting emails away from your inbox:

Gmail:

1. Click on the settings gear icon and choose “See all settings.”

2. Go to the “Filters and Blocked Addresses” tab and review existing filters.

Outlook:

1. Go to Settings > View all Outlook settings.

2. Navigate to Mail > Rules and review your email rules.

Check Your Email Quota

If your inbox is full, new emails might not be delivered. Check your storage quota and delete old or unnecessary emails to free up space.

Check Third-Party Services

If you’re using a third-party email service or app (like Apple Mail, Outlook on desktop, etc.), it could be delaying email delivery. Log in directly to your web-based inbox to see if the email appears there.

Request the Email Again

If none of the above steps work, it’s possible there was an issue on the sender’s side. Try requesting the email again or contact support.
