Saving your public keys

Keeping a saved copy of your public keys is a necessary step to complete Sovereign Recovery if needed. 

"Sovereign Recovery" is what we call the ability to create a transaction outside of your Casa app using open-source, third-party tools.

To view the your public key information and the instructions needed to carry out Sovereign Recovery:

1. Navigate to the Account tab in your Casa app

2. Tap "Send Sovereign Recovery Info" and confirm

This sends you an email with details on how to recover your funds without Casa. The email contains public keys which cannot be used to send funds, but could be used to view your balance, so you should keep the information contained in that email private.

The email also contains instructions on how you would carry out Sovereign Recovery if needed.
