As a Casa Private Client and U.S. resident, you can now easily set up a secure inheritance plan for your cryptocurrency assets through our Enhanced Verification Inheritance Program. This program provides a simple way for Vault Owners to transfer their digital assets to designated Recipients upon passing, without requiring Recipients to understand complex crypto security concepts.
How It Works:
1. Vault Owner (Private Client) initiates the inheritance process through the Inheritance tab in their Casa app.
2. Enter the email of the desired Recipient and select which vault(s) you'd like them to inherit.
3. Recipients receive an email invitation to accept, confirm their email, and set up login credentials.
4. Through the membership portal, Vault Owner provides verified information about themselves and Recipients including government-issued ID for enhanced verification.
5. Once approved by Casa, Recipients are authorized to assume control of their assigned vault(s) after the Vault Owner's passing.
Key Program Details:
- Recipients can be heirs, executors, trustees or any party you choose
- Designate a Backup Recipient for extra security
- No need for Recipients to understand crypto vaults
- Vault Owner retains 100% custody until verified inheritance event occurs
Setting Up Your Inheritance Plan:
Simply follow the Inheritance tab in your Casa app, enter Vault Owner and Recipient details including government ID and complete the membership portal verification process.
