What to do as a Recipient if you get a new phone

If you have an iCloud or Google Drive backup of your Mobile Key:

You should be able to restore your Mobile Key automatically. After setting up your new phone, open the Casa app, go to the Inheritance tab, and follow the prompts to restore your key from backup. You may be asked to perform a health check to pull the saved Mobile Key backup onto your new phone

If you don't have a backup:

You'll need the Vault Owner to share their Mobile Key QR code with you again so you can re-import it.

Note: No action is needed for hardware keys or the Casa Recovery Key when switching phones — those remain unaffected.
