This article explains the process for recipients to access a vault with Enhanced Verification
In the event of the death of your Vault Owner you would need to start a claim in your Casa App.
On the Inheritance tab, click into one of the vaults shared with you. Tap on Start Vault claim to begin the process. You will need to book a call with an advisor and they can walk you through what you will need to do and the more in depth process.
In order to gain access to the assets, you will be required to provide a verified Death Certificate of the Vault Owner and your Government approved ID that matches our records.
If you are the backup Recipient please provide a verified Death Certificate of the Vault Owner and the Recipient, and your Government approved ID that matches our records.
Once the death certificate and IDs are verified, we'll send you an email with confirmation and invite you to schedule another call so that we can assist with the recovery process. Please have the hardware key, the Inheritance envelope, or Recipient Hardware wallet ready for this call.
Private Client Inheritance Recipients will receive one full year of Private Client membership. This membership includes an onboarding package, dedicated Vault setup, and personal support with a dedicated Advisor.
We will safely guide you through setting up a new vault where you can safely store your funds or assist with guidance in moving funds to an outside exchange or OTC.
