What happens if I rotate a key shared for Inheritance?
Rotating a key from your vault will affect the inheritance setup and needs attention.
What happens if I rotate a Hardware Key that’s been shared for Inheritance?
When you begin to rotate a Mobile Key or a Hardware Key, the app will warn you that doing so will break your Inheritance setup. After completing the rotation, follow the steps in the Inheritance tab of your Casa app to share the updated key with your Recipient to maintain the health of your Inheritance setup.
If the hardware wallet being rotated is not the inheritance key, no extra steps are needed from the Recipient. The same key will still be valid.
