Premium Customer Onboarding Call Readiness List

The following is a list of things you can do to be prepared for our onboarding call and help things go smoothly. This list should take you 15-30 minutes to complete.

We’re excited to meet you - and give you the confidence that your bitcoin is protected, so you can focus on what matters most.

  • Download Trezor Suite on to your laptop or desktop computer from http://trezor.io/trezor-suite
  • Ensure you have access to laptop or desktop computer running MacOS or Windows 11 (or later)
  • Ensure you have Google Chrome installed on your computer
  • Ensure you have installed and can login to the Casa mobile app on your phone
  • Open the two Trezor boxes and take the packing stickers off the screen and the bottom of the devices
  • Ensure you can plug the Trezor devices into your computer directly or using one of the adapters sent in your onboarding package. (The adapter can be found in the purple, plastic bag)

  • If you would like to make a test deposit during the onboarding call, please have access to the platform or keys/wallet where your funds currently reside in order to send in a test amount to your new Casa vault
  • Please access two seed phrase cards from inside one of the Trezor boxes (inside the green “Get Started” sleeve) and have a pen with you
  • Think about an emergency contact that can be used in a duress situation (Ideally a person that lives outside of your home)
  • Ensure tamper evident bags and device labels are out and ready to use

If you have completed the above checklist of tasks, the Casa onboarding call will take 60-75 minutes. On this call we will:

  • Setup your 5-Key vault for BTC (and a 5-Key vault for ETH/USDC/USDT if applicable)
  • Assist with making the first deposit into your vault
  • Talk through security, geographic distribution of your hardware keys along with collecting a duress word and emergency contact.
  • Explain how our inheritance feature works and prepare you for the setup of inheritance
  • Discuss the Sovereign Recovery process

If we are unable to finish all of these steps during the initial call, we will book a second, shorter call to complete your onboarding.
