Recurring buys let you automate your crypto purchases by scheduling them on a regular basis—removing the need to log in each time you want to buy crypto. Here’s how it works and what to expect:
💰
Price Execution
-
Recurring buy orders are based on a fixed dollar amount (e.g., $50 every week).
-
The actual amount of crypto purchased may vary depending on market prices at the time your order is executed.
🏦
Funding & ACH Transfers
-
To fund each recurring buy, an ACH transfer is automatically initiated 3 business days before the scheduled buy.
-
This delay ensures the cash has time to settle in your account before the buy is completed.
💸
Fees
-
ACH transfer fee applies (visible before you confirm your recurring buy).
-
No additional purchase or trading fees are charged for recurring buys.
🧾
Transaction History
-
ACH transfers will appear in your cash account transaction list.
-
Crypto purchases will show up in your ZH asset wallet, under each corresponding asset.
📬
Email Notifications
-
You’ll receive an email when the ACH transfer completes.
-
A second email will confirm when the recurring buy is executed.

What Happens If a Payment Fails or There Are Insufficient Funds?
-
If there are insufficient funds in your linked bank account, the ACH transfer will fail and the scheduled buy will be skipped. The system will automatically try again on your next scheduled date.
-
If your bank account has been disconnected, the recurring buy will be cancelled. You’ll need to reconnect your bank and set up a new recurring buy to continue.
You’ll receive an email notification if a payment fails or your account needs attention.
